King’s College London CDT in Medical Imaging now accepting applications
How to apply for the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training

Application process
Applying to our CDT is a simple three-step process. All you have to do is check your eligibility to apply to the CDT; choose from the projects that we have on offer; and then send us a pre-application form. We will then get in touch with you to confirm if you have been shortlisted for a full application and interview.
Step 1: Check your Eligibility
First off, please read our criteria page for a list of undergraduate degrees that we accept and to check that you are eligible to apply for our funding. There are a number of ways that you can be funded for your PhD depending on whether you are a Home/EU student or international student. Visit our funding page to see the options available. In particular, international students are encouraged to look at the list of scholarships available from King’s College London. EU students who are eligible to apply are encouraged to do so, as the EPSRC will guarantee their funding for the duration of their course, even if the United Kingdom were to leave the EU during that time.
Step 2: Available Projects for September 2018 entry
The next part of the process is choosing which of our available projects you’d be interested in studying.
Projects for September 201 entry are available here
Step 3: Send us Your Pre-application Form
Once you’ve chosen up to three projects that you’re interested in, please submit a pre-application form [.Docx]. This form should detail your academic background in full, including all modules taken and grades assigned. You should state your three preferred PhD projects from the list of available projects, including the number assigned to the project, the project title and the name of the 1st supervisor. Please also send a covering letter and a CV, including 2 referees (only contacted after interviews). To submit your form, please click here
If you are successful and are invited to interview we will ask that you submit a full application via the King’s admissions portal prior to an interview. The full application will require a copy of your transcripts and references.
We are open for applications for September 2017 entry and we welcome enquiries from suitably qualified and eligible candidates.
If you have any questions regarding the application process or the projects available, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the CDT manager, at imaging-cdt@kcl.ac.uk.
